A parts and service book should both be considered essential reading for prior, during and after the completion of your Dakar kit car. Haynes Workshop manuals and Land Rover Parts catalogues are both recommended, and are both available for either Range Rover or Discovery donors. The Dakar Build manual is also available for a small fee from Dakar cars. It contains the build order and full details of Dakar specifics, but relies upon the service and parts manuals to be on hand for the standard Range Rover/Discovery bits. |
