| THOSE PEOPLE NOT TOO EXCITED by the idea of gleaming indoor exhibits or hard and fast track action probably found their day inspired by the Dakar Off-Road Experience. Over the last twelve months the Donington administration has built an extremely impressive off-road track within the in-field area in the centre of the circuit. Dakar Cars took on running the site throughout the | weekend and a large number of customer cars turned up to give rides to those with a head for extreme inclines, mud ponds and death defying angles. No problems with the rain here, and the crew were kept suitably occupied throughout the weekend. This really is terrific fun so, if you missed it this year, then you should certainly add it to your short list for next year's event. |
